Who Gives A Fish Forums

I picked up a "kohl" tang in a trade about a month ago, and the seller said it lost its color due to stress. The tang's been eating like a champ, but I haven't seen any color return - it's still pretty bland. I'm starting to wonder if it's actually a different type of tang, or if it's just one that naturally lacks that distinctive purplish-brown color.
