Found a bunch of nudibranchs chowing down on my Zoas last night. Anyone got a solid treatment plan that won't nuke the rest of my tank? Running a 75g mixed reef, parameters are stable, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5 nitrate, 8.2 pH.

Had the same issue a few months back. Manual removal with tweezers is a start, but you gotta hit 'em with a dip too. I used CoralRx, worked like a charm. Just follow the dosage, don't go heavy.

CoralRx is decent, but if you're dealing with eggs, it's not enough. You'll need to quarantine the affected corals and inspect daily. I've had success with a Bayer dip, 5ml per gallon for 15 minutes. Rinse well after.

I'm scared to use chemicals. Are there any natural predators that'll take care of them? My tank's only 40g, so adding a wrasse might be tight.

What's the best way to spot the eggs? I've got a few Zoas looking rough but can't see any bugs.

Check under the polyps and on the stems. They're tiny, white, and kinda clustered. A magnifying glass helps.

My LFS recommended flatworm exit for nudis. Anyone tried that? I'm hesitant since it's not labeled for them.

Nope, don't mess with that. It's not effective for nudis and could stress your corals. Stick to targeted dips.

This thread's got me paranoid. Gonna inspect my tank tonight. Any signs I should look for besides the obvious munching?
