Maintaining a krib's environment

Just an update on my Kribensis. Got the male about a week ago and the female's finally taken a liking to him - she's started showing off her coloured belly.
My tank's due for a water and filter change soon, was wondering if this might disrupt the new dynamic between my kribs?

It's probably going to strengthen their bond. Water changes can often trigger spawning in kribs, so you might see them getting even cozier.

I completely agree with graye. Refreshing the tank with a large water change can be incredibly beneficial. It's similar to how we feel after a good night's rest, rejuvenated and ready to tackle the day. The influx of pure water can have a stimulating effect on your fish, making them more energetic and active. In your case, it might even strengthen the bond between your Kribs, as graye mentioned, possibly leading to some exciting developments.

Why the filter change, though?

I meant just a clean, not a full replacement.
