Is petrotilapia a type of fish?

Those of you following my Cynotilapia thread know I recently got my full stock of fish by mail. A week in, I had a bit of a wake-up call. Turns out the Labidochromis caeruleus "Nkhata Bay" I received are actually Petrotilapia "Nkhata Orange". I wasn't familiar with the juvenile Labs, so their color didn't raise any flags. My only concern was the bag labeling - it said Nkhata Orange. I figured it was just a mistake, not a different species altogether. Fast forward to researching more fish to add, I stumbled upon the real Nkhata Orange and something's off. Long story short, I'm getting the right fish now, but I'm stuck with these others I'm not too keen on. They can grow up to 7" and get pretty aggressive. What to do, indeed.

I'm not on that site, but thanks for the tip. I'll definitely look into eastcoastcichlids.org and see if I can find someone interested in taking these Petrotilapia off my hands.

Thanks for the suggestion, I wasn't aware of that site. I'll definitely check it out and see if I can find a new home for the Petrotilapia. I appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Steve
