I just set up my 75 gallon tank and added a copper banded butterfly yesterday. I'm thinking of adding another butterfly too. I've heard that if you introduce them at the same time, they usually get along fine. What are your thoughts on this?

It really depends on the specific type of butterflyfish you're looking to add. Some species are more tolerant of each other, while others just don't get along. Generally, if you choose butterflies that look quite different from each other, they tend to do better than those that resemble each other. Also, try to get them around the same size.

i'd maybe hold off for a bit, see how your copperband does, they can be a bit finicky with food and don't travel too well, gets 'em a bit stressed.

Alright, thanks for the advice. My copperband seems pretty chill so far, I'm feeding him live vitamin enriched brine shrimp and he's already pecking at the rocks, so we'll see how it goes.

If you've got fish that are being a bit fussy and only picking at the rocks, try squishing a bit of frozen prawn or something similar onto the rock - they'll often pick at that. It's more natural for them to pick and graze, and having some food on the rocks can keep them going while they get used to accepting food that's sinking through the water.
