Best skimmer for SPS tank

I'm setting up a new SPS tank and need a skimmer that can handle heavy bioload. My tank is 120 gallons, running a mixed reef with Acropora and Montipora. What's the best skimmer you've used for SPS dominance?

I've had great results with the Reef Octopus Classic 150INT. It's quiet, efficient, and handles my 125-gallon SPS tank with ease. My nitrates stay below 5 ppm, and the corals are thriving.

Yo, the Bubble Magus Curve 7 is a beast for SPS. My tank's packed with Acros, and this thing pulls out some nasty gunk. Plus, it's got a small footprint, which is clutch for my cramped sump.

I'm using the Tunze 9410 DC. It's adjustable, so I can tweak it based on how much I'm feeding. My SPS are growing like crazy, and the skimmer's dead silent, which is a huge plus.

I've heard mixed reviews about the Curve 7. Some say it's finicky with water level changes. How's your experience been?

I'm kinda new to SPS, but I got the Red Sea RSK-300. It's been solid so far, but my tank's only 75 gallons. Not sure if it'll cut it for a bigger setup like yours.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I'm leaning toward the Reef Octopus or the Bubble Magus. Gonna check the sump space and see which one fits better.

Either choice is solid. Just make sure to dial it in slowly. SPS can be picky with sudden changes in skimming.

For real, the Curve 7 took a week to break in, but once it did, it was smooth sailing. My Acros colored up nicely after I got it running steady.

One thing to watch with the Tunze is the pump. It's reliable, but if you get a dud, their customer service is top-notch. Had mine replaced no questions asked.
