damselfish encounter with an anemone

I just witnessed my fish get stung by the rose bubble tip anemone. It happened when he chased the clown fish into the anemone this afternoon. He was paralyzed for a few seconds, but then swam out without any issues. If I hadn't seen the whole thing, I wouldn't have even known anything was wrong - maybe this isn't his first time getting stung?

I'm a bit concerned, though - will he be alright? I know clown fish are a type of damsel, but I also know they don't typically live in anemones.

Silly little guy!

Actually, quite a few damselfish species are known to live among anemones, like the Domino damselfish for instance, which are pretty similar to Humbugs and will often take up residence in them.

Thanks for the info zenoxa, I wasnt aware damselfish like that. Anyway, just an update on Humbug - his white stings/burns have cleared up overnight and he seems perfectly fine now. He's also given the clownfish some space for the time being.
