need help with stocking and equipment

I'm planning to set up a Mbuna tank in my trigon 190, currently running an internal aps 1200 filter, and I've also got a tetratec external 1200 canister filter on the way to run alongside it.

I'm keen on using ocean rock and sand substrate - does anyone know the rough quantities I'd need for a trigon 190?

I've been checking out cichlids and I'm really drawn to Yellow labs, Cobalt blue zebras, and Red zebras. Would they work well together? I was thinking of getting 4 of each, with a 1:3 male to female ratio - is that too many or not enough? I've read about overstocking to reduce aggression, but I don't want them to be stressed as the trigon's not massive.

Does this sound like a solid plan? Researching cichlids is giving me a headache. Any advice or info would be a huge help.

Still no one's got any advice on my Mbuna tank setup?

I'm really keen to get this right, don't wanna end up with unhappy fish. Has anyone mixed Yellow labs, Cobalt blue zebras, and Red zebras before?

Don't worry, it's just the nature of the beast when posting in specialized sections - the experts who can help you might be tied up with work or catching some Z's. As you drill down into the sub-sections, the pool of knowledgeable folks willing to chime in gets smaller, and that's reflected in the slower response times.

Personally, I'm not much help with Mbuna tanks - I've got zero experience in that area, but it's definitely on my to-do list, given my local water parameters and my partner's fondness for the vibrant colors those tanks showcase.
