I think it's not a good idea as the difference between tanks can be fatal for the eggs and they might even eat them due to the change. In my experience, the kribs will just chase your fish away, they won't attack them straight away. Mine are spawning and they're chasing the fish when they get near ...

Yeah, keep us posted. I'm curious to see which method you prefer. My bet's on the plantlets, but cutting's quicker if you're in a hurry.

Yep, timeon's got it right. I usually just let mine do their thing. Once the plantlets pop up, you can snip 'em off and glue 'em to some driftwood. Easy peasy. My tank's got a sponge filter and black sand, and they're thriving.

My kribs have finally spawned, and I'm just shy of three weeks into having them. Ironic, really, since I wasn't exactly hoping for them to breed - I just wanted them to get along. Guess they're getting along just fine, huh?

I catch myself gazing at my tanks daily, especially since a couple are right in my front room. The amount of time I spend watching them can vary, depending on how much beer I've got on hand. But I've got to say, I really do love watching my tank - it's super relaxing.
