Re: Sinularia flexibilis propagation

Good luck! And don't forget the sharp scissors. Dull blades crush the tissue, and that's a one-way ticket to melt city.

Re: Sinularia flexibilis propagation

Yep, I've done it a few times. Gotta use super sharp scissors, like the Coralife ones. Also, dip the frags in iodine right after cutting. My tank's a 40 breeder with T5s, and they bounce back in a week or two.

Yep, flow's key. I've got mine on a wavemaker set to pulse every 5 seconds. They seem to dig the random movement.

Re: Best Plants for a Betta Tank

I've had luck with Marimo moss balls in my betta tank. They're super low maintenance and my betta likes to push them around. Not sure if that counts as messing with them, but it's kinda cute. Just rinse them occasionally to keep 'em clean.

Re: Easy low-maintenance planting ideas

I've had good luck with Wisteria in my gravel-only tank. I've also got a plant that I'm pretty sure is an Anubias, and it's doing just fine without any fertilizers or CO2.
