Mine runs at 8.5 dKH, no issues. But I dose daily to keep it steady. Big swings are worse than the actual number. What's your dosing routine like? If you're not consistent, that could be stressing your SPS.

It can take a couple months sometimes. If you're impatient, try cutting the rhizome like brookie mentioned. Works faster in my experience.

Not looking good, I know. Put it in low flow, low light, and give it some time to recover. I'd usually say dip it, but it's already super stressed. I've had chalices arrive in similar condition, they receded bad, but they looked like fresh cuts too. Just gotta wait it out and see what happens. Had a ...
