Bro, try some Marimo balls and Duckweed. Super low maintenance, and the Duckweed gives that natural, overgrown look. Just don't let it block all the light, or your other plants will throw a fit.
Duckweed is a double-edged sword, though. Once it's in, it's near impossible to get rid of. Learned ...

I've had great luck with Cryptocoryne Wendtii and Amazon Swords in my low-tech setup. They're chill and don't need fancy lights or CO2. Just make sure your sand isn't too compact, or the roots might struggle.

Best Plants for a 5-Gallon Tank
I'm setting up a 5-gallon tank and wanna keep it simple with plants. What's the best low-maintenance stuff that won't outgrow the space too fast? I've got a basic LED light, no CO2, and sand substrate.

Just got my Krib a day ago, he's starting to come out of hiding now. Still quite grey, but I notice a slight blue tint on his lower fins, nothing much else colour-wise yet. I'm really looking forward to seeing his full colours, got the ideal plants in place for him already.
