A question about moss

I'm redoing my 90-gallon tank since I'm not stoked about the current setup. I hit up Petsmart yesterday for some plants and saw this teeny cup of "assorted moss" - literally just a small circle - and snagged it since it was the only one they had. I checked other Petsmarts in the area, but no luck finding more. Now I'm stuck with this one tiny circle of moss. I'm wondering if it'll spread and how long that'll take. I'm really into moss and had big plans for it, so it's a bummer I couldn't find more. Plus, a perfect circle of moss is gonna look super weird unless it does spread, lol.

Honestly, no idea what type of moss you've got without a visual. I'm gonna take a stab and say it's probably either Java Moss or Christmas Moss.
