Attaching java moss to rocks

Post by midnight »

Hey guys, got a quick question
Just attaching some Java moss to rocks with super glue, and I was wondering, how long before I can safely put it in my tank? Thanks

You'll want to wait just long enough for the glue to dry. If you leave the Java moss out of water for too long, it'll start to wither and die, so be sure to get it in the tank before that happens.

I submerged the mossy parts in some shallow water and left the glued areas exposed overnight to dry. Didn't want to take any risks with my fish, thanks for the tip.

Another thing you could try is regularly misting the plants. If you want to dry them overnight, create a mini setup with large ziplock bags. Just spray them thoroughly before sealing and it should work out fine.
