Chalice coral care question

I'd probably lean towards fragging it if it were mine. Got any experience with fragging this chalice before? Has it ever shown sensitivity to being bumped or scraped, maybe from shipping or something?

We recently upgraded to 400W and I first noticed the issue shortly after. I've since moved the frag to a more shaded area, but unfortunately, it's continued to deteriorate. I've never fragged this piece before.

Honestly I think just give it some time, let it chill unless the bleaching gets really bad. Chalices can take a bit to heal, so maybe a stable home with low flow, low light, and just leaving it be is what it needs. I mean, that's an incredible chalice you've got there, fingers crossed it pulls through. If it does start growing again, I'd love to get my hands on a frag.

I'm considering an iodine dip - any thoughts on their effectiveness, or if they're worth trying at this point with the bleaching issue I'm experiencing.

Just wondering how the chalice is holding up.

I've had some experience with chalices and lighting, I've got a few different types and most of them can handle direct light from my LEDs, even on the rocks. However, my rainbow chalice was a different story, it needed to start off in a shaded area on the side of the tank. I gradually moved it to more direct light, but still shaded, and it's taken months to get it comfortable in the open. It's pretty sensitive to light changes, if I move it too quickly it'll bleach. I'm wondering if this is just a rainbow chalice thing, maybe they need time to adjust to higher light levels.

Chalice corals are all over the place when it comes to flow and light. I've got mine in high flow, medium light - they're sandwiched between my acros and montis. Growth is decent but it's definitely on the slow side compared to my other LPS.
