beauty of coral
I've heard that these guys are polyp-eaters only. True or not? I'm looking to get some Toadstool Leather Coflake, Brain Coflake, and Plate Coflake. Would appreciate your input.
Re: beauty of coral
Brain and plate corals are the most susceptible to being eaten. The likelihood of them sticking to a polyp-only diet is roughly 50-50, so it's a bit of a gamble.

Yeah, my experience is they definitely go for brains and plates, and also have a thing for fuzzy SPS like pocillipora, millepora, and stylophora.

Agreed, they seem to like brains, plates, and furry SPS. I was under the impression they ate only polyps, but it seems that's not the case. I checked Live Aquaria, and they actually classify plate and brain corals as LPS, not SPS.
