how to Grow anubias with shrimp
My Anubias aren't growing well with my shrimp tank. I've got a 20 gallon, low tech setup with Java Fern and some moss. The shrimp are doing great, but the Anubias leaves are turning yellow. Anyone got tips?

I've had the same issue. My Anubias started doing better when I moved them to a spot with less light. Maybe try that?

Yo, Anubias are chill plants but they hate too much light. I keep mine in a 10 gallon with Cherry Shrimp, no CO2, just a basic LED. They're slow growers but steady. What's your lighting schedule like?

I've heard Anubias can get algae if the light's too strong. Maybe cut back to 6 hours a day and see if that helps.

I run my lights for 8 hours, but I'll try reducing it. Do you think the shrimp mess with the roots?

Shrimp won't bother Anubias roots, but they might pick at any algae on the leaves. Make sure you're not burying the rhizome in the substrate, that'll kill it. Tie it to driftwood or a rock instead.

My Anubias took forever to grow, but once they settled in, they were solid. I've got 'em in a 15 gallon with Amanos and they're doing great. Maybe just give it time?

I've never had luck with Anubias. Maybe my water's too hard.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll try reducing the light and checking the rhizome placement. Appreciate it!
