finding the best aquatic shops in surrey

Hi everyone,

I'm on the hunt for a reliable Malawi breeder in Surrey or Croydon, or a good aquatics shop that specializes in Malawis. So far, my search has been pretty underwhelming. Lynwood Aquatics does have a decent selection, but the sizes are quite small and the prices are steep. I'm still looking for a better option.

I used to be lucky enough to have some great choices nearby, like Wildwoods, Aquatic Design Centre, and SSA. Those were the days!

I do know about the various online breeders like Tony, Cleveland, Midlwands, and Northants, but I really want to see the fish in person before making a purchase.

Mike Bonnick in West Wickham - not too far from you, I think. He's got an impressive setup - 50 tanks of Africans, which is hard to find in any UK shop. I came across his ad on Aquarist Classifieds and thought it might be worth checking out. There's also a South East Facebook group you might find useful, I've posted the link below.

I'm relatively close to you, so I thought I'd mention that there are a few Maidenhead Aquatics locations within reasonable driving distance. I've been to one of them before and I'm fairly sure they had some Malawis on display, although I'm not entirely certain about that.
