You said you do 90% water changes every week or 30% every 2 days - I'm still a bit confused about that. If it's 30% every 3 days, it's not like you're replacing 90% of the water in a week. When you do a 30% change, some of that water was already changed 2 days ago, so it's not entirely new water.

I'm really sorry to hear about your discus' condition, it's possible that it's a fungal infection. I think it's worth trying to change the water more frequently or give the tank a good cleaning, it might just do the trick.
