Yep, that's what I do. Parents are great at laying eggs, but terrible at parenting. Fry tank is the way to go.

Anyone tried using a breeding cone? Heard it helps keep the eggs in one spot, makes it easier to move them to the fry tank.

Breeding cones work, but they're not a must. I've had success with smooth slate or even the tank glass. Just gotta be careful when moving the eggs.
