Keeping the pink skunk clownfish with an anemone

Post by Talixor »

hey everyone, its been ages since i last checked in, just set up a marine tank, its a 94 litre river reef setup

thinking of getting a pair of pink skunk clowns, wondering if they'll bond with a rose or bubble tip anenome?
i know in the wild they dont really pair up with them, but was curious if they'd take to it if it was an option

I've been keeping busy with work at World of Water, which has been a massive help in getting my marine tank up and running - it's definitely made it more affordable. On top of that, I've been trying to juggle my A-levels, so that's taken up a fair bit of time.

Regarding the clownfish, I'd love to hear your thoughts - I'm torn between a pair of pink skunks, a single cinnamon clown, or a clarki clown. I'm planning to upgrade my tank in about a year, so I've got some time to figure it out.

No way, you can't have a mix of those clowns, they'll never get along. Either go for a pair of Clarki, Skunks or Cinnamons, that's your best bet. They'll fight and stress each other out otherwise, trust me on this one.

So I've got the pink skunks sorted, they've been at work for 2 months now and I'm pretty sure they're all good to go. Out of the other options, which one do you think would be a good alternative? I'm also thinking of getting a Cherub Angel, what's your take on them?

Cherubs are nice fish, some can be fin nippers, others aren't, bit of a gamble really.
