Snack theory's genius. I toss in a cube of bloodworms post-change, and now they crowd the front when I grab the hose. Pavlov's discus, ha.

Might be overthinking it. Mine hated changes til I started using aged water. Now I keep a 20g trash can heated and aerated for 24 hours before changes. Zero stress, zero drama.
