I'm new to discus, but mine seem to do better when I feed them at the same time every day. Tank is 40 gallons, 3 discus, and I use a sponge filter. Temp at 82F, water changes every week. I feed them flakes and frozen bloodworms.

My discus are less aggressive when I feed them in the morning. Maybe they're hungrier at night? Tank is 55 gallons, 4 discus, no other fish. I use a canister filter and keep the temp at 83F. Water changes every 6 days.

I've found that feeding my discus in smaller amounts multiple times a day helps reduce aggression. Tank is 60 gallons, 5 discus, no other fish. I use a sponge filter and keep the temp at 84F. Water changes every 5 days.

I've noticed my discus are less aggressive when I feed them after turning off the filter. Tank is 45 gallons, 3 discus, no other fish. I use a sponge filter and keep the temp at 83F. Water changes every 6 days.
