Recovering from black dots on swordtail fish?
I've been keeping an eye on this swordtail after treating it for a scratch, and I'm wondering if the mark on it is a recovering scab or something else.

Those marks appear to be remnants of the healing process, likely scars that have formed as the wound closed. The overall appearance doesn't seem to indicate any cause for concern.

Thanks for the reassurance, it's good to know it's probably just a healing scab. It did remind me of a nasty scrape I had from a biking accident, glad to hear it's nothing too serious for my swordtail.Emeraldsea wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 10:52 am Those marks appear to be remnants of the healing process, likely scars that have formed as the wound closed.
