Nah, it depends on the species. Some fish see red fine, others don't. Try mixing pellet colors to see what works best. My Discus go nuts for anything blue, weirdly enough.

Color perception in fish is a complex topic. More studies are needed to fully understand how it impacts their daily lives in captivity.

Thanks for the insights, everyone. I'll experiment with different lighting and decor to see how my fish respond.
