anubias nana Care for beginners

Just got my first Anubias Nana and I'm not sure how to care for it properly. My tank is a 10 gallon with low light and no CO2. Should I glue it to driftwood or let it float?

Anubias Nana is a great choice for beginners. It's low maintenance and thrives in low light. Glue it to driftwood or a rock, don't bury the rhizome or it'll rot. I use super glue gel, just a tiny dab. Floating works too but it might not look as nice.

I've had Anubias Nana in my 20 gallon for years. It's attached to lava rock with fishing line. The rhizome is exposed, and it's grown slowly but steadily. Water parameters are stable, 78°F, pH 7.0. No CO2 needed, just occasional liquid fertilizer.

Mine melted at first, freaked me out. Turns out it was just adjusting. Now it's chillin' on a piece of cholla wood. Tank's got some neon tetras and a sponge filter. Light's on for 6 hours a day, seems happy.

Yep, melting is normal. Anubias Nana is tough once it settles in. I'd avoid high light though, algae loves those leaves.

I glued mine to a small slate piece. It's in a 5 gallon betta tank, no CO2, just Seachem Flourish every other week. The betta likes to rest on the leaves. Water changes every week, 25%, and it's been fine.

Anubias Nana is bulletproof, dude. I've got it in a jar with no filter, just some shrimp. Light's from a cheap LED desk lamp. It's growing, like, stupid slow but it's alive. Don't overthink it.

Mine's attached to a coconut hide. The roots have wrapped around it nicely. Tank's at 76°F, pH 6.8. I dose Excel occasionally but it's not necessary. Just keep an eye out for algae on the leaves.

Yo, Anubias Nana is the chillest plant ever. I threw mine in a 10 gallon with some guppies, no glue, just wedged it between rocks. It's been months and it's still kickin'. Light's low, water's soft, no fuss.

I've found that Anubias Nana does best when the rhizome is above the substrate. I use thread to tie it to decor until the roots grab hold. Tank is 15 gallons, 77°F, and I use a basic LED light.
