information on yellow tang

Post by silentfox »

I spotted him at the store and grabbed him right away, didn't want someone else to beat me to it. He's a big fella, larger than most naso tangs I've come across. When he fans out his fins from top to bottom, he's actually bigger than my head, and he's a decent length too.

Don't think size is everything though, this tang's got some serious presence, I mean I was at the store and I just had to grab him, didn't want anyone else to get their hands on him.

If that's in a Marine Bi-orb, the glass might be making it look bigger than it is. I visited a local fish store recently and was shocked to see a pair of midas clowns, a pyjama cardinal and a yellow tang all crammed into a tiny 30l bi-orb - utterly absurd.

I'm positive, it looked this large in the store, nothing's magnifying it.
