Just remember to keep an eye on your water params after introducing live food. My 55-gallon's got a sponge filter, and I noticed a slight ammonia spike the first time I tried it. Now I test the water every other day when I feed live. Temp's at 83°F, pH 6.8, and I've got some Anubias in there too.

I've been feeding mine live brine shrimp for months with no issues. Tank's a 100-gallon with a sump, and I've got a mix of Discus and Rams. Water's at 85°F, pH 6.6, and I do 30% changes weekly. Just make sure you're not overfeeding, or you'll mess with your water quality.

I'm new to Discus, so this is really helpful. My tank's a 40-gallon with a HOB filter, and I've been sticking to flakes and pellets. Maybe I'll try live food once I'm more comfortable. Water's at 82°F, and I do 20% changes weekly.
