Are these fish difficult to care for?

Post by luremaster »

I've never had a saltwater tank, just freshwater. Thinking of getting one when I can afford it, and I'd love to have a tank with these little guys. Wondering if I can keep other fish with them, or even have multiple in the same tank? Also, are they a pain to care for?

Honestly, I've never had a saltwater tank before, I'm totally clueless about caring for those little guys.

I'm still pretty new to freshwater, never done saltwater, but I recall chatting with a salty about that fish and if I'm not mistaken, they said it's a tough one to care for.

I'm still pretty new to aquariums, mostly just freshwater experience, but I recall discussing that fish with a saltwater expert in our chat. They mentioned it's a challenging species to care for. Guess I'll have to be more confident in my skills before taking the plunge. Maybe someday I'll be ready to give it a try.

I've dabbled in freshwater, still learning the ropes, and I recall chatting with one of the saltwater enthusiasts here about that fish. If I'm not mistaken, I was told it's quite challenging to care for.

Oh no, that's a bummer... maybe someday I'll muster the courage to give it a shot. My heart belongs to freshwater, since that's where my dream fish resides, but I have to admit, the fish in question (is it a mandarin goby?) is pretty enticing – might just tempt me to try saltwater someday.
