Weirdly, mine got used to the light after a month. 55-gallon with CO2, high-tech plants. They hid at first but now ignore the Chihiros RGB. Maybe it's about acclimation time?

Mine still hide after 6 months, lol. 40-gallon breeder, cheap LED from Amazon. Gonna try the intensity trick. Also, maybe they're just shy because my angelfish are jerks.

Could be! My juveniles took 3 weeks to stop panicking. Now they're front and center in the 65-gallon, even with the Twinstar blazing.
