compatibility issues

Post by fable95 »

Got a 4 week old 20G nano with a yellow clown goby and an orange spotted goby. Adding a pair of juvenile occelaris clown fish this weekend.

Wondering if anyone's had any issues with mixing clown gobies and clown fish - my little guy's already pretty bold, comes up to the front of the tank when I'm sitting there.

Cheers

They should be alright. Clownfish can get a bit testy when spawning, might claim a spot and defend it, but generally they're not too fussed about the rest of the tank's inhabitants. I've got a purple firefish that swims with my clowns all the time and they just ignore him, but they do love nipping at my hand when I stick it in the tank, though.
