Filter size recommendations

I dunno much, but my buddy uses a small filter on his big tank and it's always cloudy. Maybe bigger is better?

Cloudiness is usually a bio load issue, not just filter size. Overstocking or overfeeding can overwhelm even large filters.

Thanks for the insights, everyone. I'll look into adjustable flow options and maybe test a spray bar setup to diffuse the current.
