Neale Monks did a write-up on guppies, I think - if I can dig it up, I'll share it. Apparently, some guppies can be found in estuaries, where they occasionally venture into full-strength saltwater.

Concept originated from using them as feederfish, then some got loose and managed to survive in a marine environment for a brief period...note, brief.

No offense was meant, I thought I'd already acknowledged that guppies in a marine tank is a tough ask, and I'm in full agreement with you, flame9x - they just wouldn't thrive, not even for a short time, and I did say that from the get-go, didn't I?
