Yo, same thing happened to me. Turns out I was feeding way too much. Cut it back and the water cleared right up. Tetras don't need much grub.

Exactly. Overfeeding is the number one beginner mistake. A little goes a long way with these guys.

Also, make sure your filter isn't clogged. Sometimes debris can build up and reduce flow, which doesn't help with the cloudiness. Give it a quick rinse in tank water if needed.

If you're really worried, you could add some Seachem Stability to boost the beneficial bacteria. It's not necessary, but it can speed things up a bit.

I'd avoid adding too many chemicals though. Let the tank do its thing naturally if you can. Patience is key in this hobby.
