Delicious algae wafers for my fish

I just got some wafers for my pleco, and oh man, my cichlids are going nuts over them. Are they safe for my cichlids to eat, just want to double check. Gonna try feeding my pleco at night with the lights out from now on, lol.

What type of cichlids do you have? If they're munching on algae wafers, you're good to go with any cichlid. But, if you have Tropheus and they're snacking on high-protein pellets or wafers, that could be an issue.

No Tropheus for me, they're stunning though. Appreciate the heads up.
