Thanks, man. I was thinking of getting it a bit higher to cover the Fluval, but figured that'd mess with the stability.

Might be worth trying some bigger rocks, see if you can stack 'em up a bit

They're just the ones that came with the tank, I think they're limestone or something.

those are pancake rocks, just search ebay

Just my two cents, the rock layout seems too uniform. Instead of stacking them neatly, why not just chuck 'em in there and see how they settle? That nice piece of wood you've got could be used as a base, have the rocks scattered around it or on top.

Ultimately, it's your tank, so it's all about what you like.
