One of my dad's mates has this awesome communal marine tank and it's got a pair of percula clownfish that just keep laying eggs, unfortunately they get eaten. I was thinking of getting some off him and I'm keen to learn how to care for them properly. What sort of food do they need, what's the minimum tank size, and all that jazz. I've only ever kept freshwater fish before, so any advice would be sweet.
Cheers Nick.

check out Nemo's thread, she's had heaps of success with baby clowns. they need live food for the first stage, so you should be culturing your own brine shrimp or similar for a few weeks beforehand to get a decent stockpile going.

Cheers for the tip rileyon, I really appreciate it. I'm having some trouble finding Nemo's thread though, would you be able to point me in the right direction with a link or something?

Just wanted to chime in, I've got a journal linked in my signature that's got most of the info you'll need on raising clownfish. I've tried a bunch of different methods, some that worked out and some that didn't. Feel free to check it out and hit me up with any questions you've got, I'll do my best to get back to you when I get home from work.

Cheers guys,
Nemo's journal is awesome, but to be honest, I think clownfish might be a bit out of my depth, being my first saltwater venture and all.
