Also, don't forget to check your alk and calcium levels. If they're outta whack, your corals won't be happy. I test mine every week, just to be safe.

Good point. I've had issues with alk swings before. Now I dose daily to keep it steady.

Anyone use a specific fragging tool? I've been using scissors, but I'm not sure if that's the best way.

I use a scalpel. Clean cuts heal faster, and there's less chance of infection. Just make sure it's sterilized before you start.
