tds of the fountain water is 10, much better than my RO unit which is 20, i think ill stick with fountain water for now, or maybe get a new RO unit, what you think floral9?

I'm always skeptical about unfiltered water, the stuff from natural sources can be all over the place with TDS and chemicals, plus there's bacteria and parasites to worry about.
A farm's water is especially concerning, with fertilizers, pesticides and who knows what else that could be in the water table. I know it's convenient and cheap but for me, it's RO water all the way, I'd rather have peace of mind than risk my tank and wallet.

decided to stick with the RO water too, was thinkin about the pesticide thing as well, thanks for the input

i'm seriously doubting its an RO filter to be honest, more like a carbon filter lol, 300 tds on a new membrane is just ridiculous
