There are a couple of issues here. Firstly, your pipefish may struggle to compete for food with the other fish, so you'll need a plan in place to ensure they're well-fed. Maybe consider caging them off to give them a better chance.

The other issue is the parrotfish. They're similar to wrasses, but they grow much larger - I think the bicolour can reach up to two feet in length. They're beautiful fish, don't get me wrong, but they're not really suited to the average tank. They'll eat just about anything, including hard corals, crabs, shrimp, snails, and even rock. Their jaw strength is incredibly powerful, rivalling that of puffers and triggers.

If you're looking for an alternative, a Coris gaimard could work well in place of the parrotfish. They're similar in appearance and could fill a similar role in your tank.

They also have a tendency to nip at coflakes and munch on live rock. As zenoxa pointed out, parrots aren't your average aquarium fish. The sailfin tang might also start nipping at coflakes as it matures, usually in search of algae, but coflakes aren't too fond of being nipped at repeatedly.

Tank size is something we should know.
