Ludwigia repens propagation

I've got a bunch of Ludwigia repens in my 20-gallon tank, and they're growing like crazy. How do you guys propagate them? Do you just cut the stems and replant, or is there a better method?

Cutting and replanting works fine. I usually trim about 4 inches from the top, remove the lower leaves, and stick it back into the substrate. They root pretty fast under good light.

Yep, that's what I do too. Just make sure your scissors are clean, or you might introduce bacteria. Also, Ludwigia repens loves high light, so if you've got that, they'll take off.

I agree with this method. I've found that using root tabs can speed up the process, especially in inert substrates like sand.
