Hi,
Got a female Green Mandarin (Synchiropus splendidus) that's doing well with my Oceanix's, feeding fine on frozen foods. Upgrading to a 30 UK Gallon tank soon, and the Mandarin's coming with.
Considering getting a Spotted (s.picturatus) that eats frozen, wonder if they'd be compatible in the same tank? Need a male for this to work?
Planning to get a Spotted soon, hopefully it'll go in with my current Mandy or the Clowns. Thinking of trying that method people use to get their Mandy's onto frozen - keeping it in a breeding net for a few weeks, feeding enriched brine daily until it takes to frozen brine, then adding mysis to the mix.
Cheers

Re: mixing green mandarins with spotted varieties
You can definitely keep a Green Mandarin and a Spotted Mandarin together, just be aware that males of the same or different species might have a go at each other. However, two females or a male and female of different species should get along just fine.
