Smart move. I've had pests hitchhike on live rock before. Now I QT rock separately for 60 days.

Also, consider a microscope for QT. Some pests are tiny—like red bugs on Acros. You'll miss 'em with the naked eye.

True. I've caught stuff under magnification that I'd never see otherwise. Worth the investment if you're serious about coral health.
