what-to-do-about-this-algae
I've got a 50 gallon salt tank with a pretty sweet setup - 2 occelaris clowns, a cleaner shrimp, a pistol shrimp, 4 firtideflow, a wheelers watchman goby, and a tiny blue tang that'll be heading back to the LFS once he outgrows the tank (they're cool with taking him back, btw). So here's the thing - I've got this algae carpet on the back glass that's just out of reach, and I was wondering if there's a fish that could help me out with that. I know my CUC is doing its thing, but there's just too much algae for them to handle on their own.

if you're having issues with algae, it's likely due to excess nutrients in the tank. addressing that would probably allow your CUC to handle the remaining algae, since they're already doing great.

To better understand your situation, I've got a few questions. What's your cleanup crew composed of? What type of algae are you dealing with on that back glass? What kind of water are you using to mix your salt? What are your phosphate levels at? Is your tank FOWLR, RO, or a reef setup? Lastly, what kind of lighting are you running?
