Snail species recommendations

Looking for snail species that won't overpopulate my 20 gallon planted tank. Got a few Nerites already but want something different. Any suggestions?

Rabbit Snails are a solid pick. They're slow breeders and have a unique look. Just make sure your substrate's soft enough for them to burrow.

How soft are we talking? I've got sand but it's pretty compacted.

If it's sand, you're golden. They just need something they can wiggle into. Avoid gravel or they'll struggle to move around.

Mystery Snails are fun but they lay eggs above the waterline. If you don't want babies, scrape the clutches off before they hatch.

For real, those Mystery Snail eggs are everywhere. But if you're cool with a few extras, they're low maintenance.

No prob. Just remember, Rabbit Snails prefer warmer water, around 78–82°F. Keep that in mind if your tank runs cooler.
