Fish hunting ideas

Has anyone tried those feeder balls? The ones you put food inside and they have to roll it around. Might be a middle ground between live and pellets.

Nah, those are more for goldfish. Oscars would probably just smash it open in two seconds flat. They're not exactly subtle.

If you're worried about disease, you can breed your own feeders. Set up a small tank for guppies or mollies. Cheap, easy, and you control their diet. Plus, it's kinda fun to watch the cycle.

Breeding feeders is a solid idea. I've got a 10 gallon with endlers just for this. My Oscar gets a couple every Friday, like fishy pizza night.
