Your setup sounds solid. Chasing is usually just dominance or breeding. My 80 gallon, temp 85F, pH 6.6, same deal. They're just figuring out who's boss. Keep an eye out for any torn fins or stress, but otherwise, it's all good.fixin wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 5:55 pm Noticed my Discus chasing each other a lot lately. Tank's a 75 gallon, temp at 84F, pH 6.8, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate. Weekly 50% water changes, sand substrate, driftwood, and some Java ferns. Feeding them beef heart mix twice a day, flakes once. They're around 4 inches, 6 of them. No new additions. Is this normal behavior or something to worry about?

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll keep an eye on them and maybe add more plants for hiding spots. Appreciate the help!
