Mine hid when the cat stared at 'em all day. Maybe check for outside stressors? Reflections, loud noises, kids tapping the glass—all that jazz.

Good point. Joshito, you got an air stone or surface agitation? If not, grab one. Cheap fix for O2 issues.

Mine perked up after I added blackwater extract. Tannins calm 'em down. You could toss in some almond leaves if you're into the natural look.

My discus hid for a week once. Turned out the heater was flickering on/off. Maybe check your gear's working right?

How many discus you got? Could be a shoaling thing. Less than six and they might feel exposed. More buddies = more confidence.

Mine did this after a water change. Temp matched but maybe the new water was harder? You test GH/KH?
