hey guys,
ive had my wave nanocube set up for about 8 weeks now, got it all running with 4 kilos of live rock and sand.
did my water checks and everything seemed fine, so my mate said hed get me my first fish.
they arrived 2day, but sadly when i opened them up (had no idea he was buying them online) one of the perculas was already dead and the other wasnt moving much..
so i took my time getting him ready for the tank, left him in the bag for about 30 mins to an hour, and then slowly added some tank water to the bag, then chucked the bag water away.
hes now in the tank, but hes not swimming much and just sitting on the bottom, still breathing tho.
hes been in the tank for 4 hours now and hardly moved, i'm getting really worried..
please help, is he dying or is there still a chance i can save him??

I think he's had it, to be honest. The fact the other one didn't make it in the bag suggests they were in some pretty rough shape, probably a lot of ammonia and bad water quality, and now this little guy's just sitting at the bottom of your tank, not moving much.

I think the clownfish can take a beating, I don't believe the dead fish would've had a huge impact on the surviving one, considering it wasn't dead for long. The real concern is what likely caused the first clownfish to die in the first place - that's probably what's affecting the other one now. Give the surviving fish some nice, stable water conditions and just hope for the best.

That happened to me once, I'm pretty hopeful he'll pull through in a while.
