Best corals for high flow tanks
I've got a 75-gallon tank with a gyre pump running at 70%. What corals thrive in high flow? I'm thinking Acropora, but want to hear other options.

Acropora's a solid pick, dude. They love the flow. Also check out Montipora and Birdsnest. My SPS tank's got all three, and they're doing great with the gyre cranked up.

I've had luck with Duncanopsammia in high flow. They're not as picky as some SPS, and the polyps look awesome waving around. Just make sure your params are stable.

Yo, don't sleep on Leptoseris. They're lowkey tanks in high flow, and the colors pop under good lighting. My frags doubled in size in three months.

Agreed. Birdsnest is underrated for high flow. Just watch for tissue recession if the flow's too direct.

My Turbinaria's been thriving with the MP40 at 80%. It's a beast. Also, don't forget about Hydnophora. They're aggressive but love the current.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Gonna start with Acropora and Birdsnest, maybe add some Leptoseris later.

Ensure your alkalinity is stable before introducing SPS. High flow demands consistent parameters. Test daily for the first two weeks.

I'm new to this, but my LFS said Pocillopora does well in high flow too. Is that true?
